A sense of flight.
Grounded in making.
A sculptural lovebird closure that creates the impression of flight through a balanced visual illusion — bringing an ambitious idea into production without electronic levitation.

From the first idea
to the finished object.
Jocko led the design from early research and concept exploration through client presentations, bottle form, sculptural closure and crystal detailing. He then worked with the factory to refine the design for production.

The feeling of flight,
without the electronics.
The initial brief explored magnetic levitation. Its electronic requirements would have added complexity to the product and its production.
Jocko proposed a different route: a balanced sculptural composition that gives the birds a floating appearance, achieving the intended visual effect through form rather than an electronic mechanism.
Preserving the idea,
refining the details.
3D visualisation provided a shared reference for client decisions and factory discussions. The bottle, bird sculpture and crystal details were developed together, then adapted to suit production.
The balanced visual illusion simplified the solution while preserving the character of the original concept. An estimated 90% of the original design intent was retained in the finished product.

A concept made real.
A product people wanted.
The finished product received positive feedback for its design.
